Facts about foster care in our community:

More the 7000 children are in Wisconsin foster care (out-of-home care) at any given time.

100 Children each month are placed into foster care (out-of-home care) in Milwaukee County alone.

Siblings are often separate from each other after being removed from their homes simply because there aren’t enough foster families to keep them all together.

Chosen Supports:

Reduce the financial impact on foster/adoptive families by having The Family Closet, a free to families “store”, Boxes of Blessings (to help build inventory for the Family Closet), and loaded backpacks for the start of the school year.

Host and facilitate family friends outreach and engagement events to help build a sense of community within like minded families.

100 Who Foster Care which is our investment program to help us purchase larger ticket items such as car seats, strollers, and other equipment needed.

Chosen Educates:

Get into the community to educate on the need for foster parents, debunk misconceptions of foster care, and expand our network of resources.

Chosen Community:

We are a resource, we strive to develop relationships with various businesses, people and professionals in our area to help foster/adoptive families have resources for their various needed.
